A Future Together
An occasional input to aid our growth into the new way of being.
A parable
When an eagle reaches forty years, its claws weaken and cannot catch prey, its beak bends down, and its wings become decrepit and pull towards the ground.
At this moment you need to make a choice: either die slowly or be painfully reborn.
Anyone who decides to live must retire high in the mountains and build a nest “for a loner”⛰
There the eagle begins to frantically beat its beak against the stone until it breaks into pieces.
While the new one grows, the predator has to starve.
Then the bird takes hold of its talons.
With pain and agony, she tears out pieces of flesh from herself. When young and sharp ones appear in their place, the predator begins to pluck out withered feathers with them.
The torture continues for almost six months...
But (❗️) He who withstands all tests is able to fly for another thirty years (❗️)
Wise Indians say that a person can be renewed at any age. To do this, sometimes you need to go through pain and suffering, to tear the past out of yourself. The reward is great - new wings🦅
It is always possible to change existing forms and ways of being, where they are shown to be detrimental. Like all things in life, there are equal and opposite ways to implement anything. We call it reverse engineering, when applied to changing harmful and inappropriate implementations. By developing the equal and opposite of anything harmful or against human best interest, the best is enabled. When this outcomes ways and means in improving the human condition, then intention, implementation of right practice and right action makes everything possible.
